- The HI2216 is an accurate and affordable pH/ISE/ORP/°C benchtop meter with 0.001 pH and ISE resolution. Up to a five-point pH calibration can be performed using seven standard buffers. In addition, two custom buffers can be used during calibration. Up to a two-point ISE calibration can be performed using five standard solutions.
- All pH readings are automatically compensated for temperature variations from the supplied thermistor probe. The HI2216 provides GLP capabilities and memory for storage of up to 200 log-on-demand records 500 lot logging records.
Details
- The HI2216 has two separate inputs for a BNC electrode and thermistor temperature probe. The BNC connector is a universal connector that is commonly available and allows the user to select from a wide variety of pH, ORP, or ISE electrodes for their particular application. The separate temperature probe provides for a high 0.2 oC accuracy measurement for precise temperature compensation.
- (GLP) data, can be recalled on the meter itself or transferred to a PC via USB cable.
Features at-a-glance
- Simple User Interface - Operation is simple with limited features that only require the use of a couple of buttons. Readings are easy to view on the large, clear display.
- Automatic Calibration - Automatic pH calibration can be performed at up to 5 points using 7 standard buffers (1.68, 4.01, 6.86, 7.01, 9.18, 10.01, and 12.45) and 2 custom buffers. Automatic ISE calibration can be performed at up to 2 points using 5 standard buffers (0.1, 1, 10, 100, 1000 ppm).
- The HI2216 is supplied with the HI1131B glass body, double junction, refillable pH electrode with an indicating sensor made of High Temperature (HT) glass. The double junction and HT glass design allows the HI1131B to be used in a wide variety of application from samples with metals and Tris buffer to samples at elevated temperatures.
- Temperature Compensation offers automatic or manual temperature compensation of pH measurements over a wide range from -20.0 to 120.0°C.
- has a mV mode that can be used with a wide variety of ORP electrodes. The mV mode is also useful in checking the offset and slope of a pH or ISE electrode. Understanding the offset and slope characteristic is helpful in knowing if the probe is functioning correctly
- features a stability indicator. An hourglass appears on the display when there is instability in the reading. The hourglass disappears once the reading has stabilized. At that time a reading should be taken or stored.
- Measurement Recall “RCL” button to review log-on-demand, lot logging, or GLP information on the meter display
- Data can be transferred to a PC with a USB cable and HI92000 software (both sold separately)
